One idea, many files
The declared languages
In Softanza you declare, and what you declare is a file in a small language made for the subject. Here they are in one table: what each declares, and how far each has come.

.stzapp, .stzplatform | an application, and a platform made of them | built (the format) | Applications |
.machine, .fleet, .pack | a machine, the links between machines, the servers placed on one | built, emulated | for-architects.html#path |
.zgov | a governance regime: who may commit what | built | Security |
.zcnv | a conversation, as a record | built | Conversations |

The Softanza way A language is named by its file, and a file is judged by a court when it is loaded. What you write is plain text you own, and a declaration that the court refuses never runs.
in construction Each row is a reading of the library and of the charters and READMEs of the estate's other repositories, by an outside assessment on 2026-10-07, and not a run. The grammar and the court of each language are told on the page in the last column; where there is no such page yet, the row is the whole account.
