48 own methods · 7 forms written with extensions, listed under their method
also named: stzReactive
the source: base/reactive/stzReactive.ring(opens in a new tab) · All classes · The area reference: GUI & reactive
Under each method, its extensions (Q CS XT Z ZZ IB W U): bold and ticked, it exists; struck, it does not. The extensions and what they mean
No method of this class is run on this page: the class reaches files, the network, processes, the clock, chance or sound, and an example run here would only be an example of its effects. Each method carries the explanation the library gives of itself.
Method
Explanation, as the source carries it
init
Sets up the timer manager and core reactive components, preparing the system for asynchronous operations.no extension
LibuvLoop
The real libuv loop handle backing this system (NULL in the no-DLL poller fallback). Real again since F5.no extension
ReactorQ
The backing reactor as a chainable stz object (Q-convention); NULL in the poller fallback.no extension
Start
Controls the lifecycle of the event loop, managing the execution and cleanup of asynchronous operations.no extension
Run
Same as Start: Controls the lifecycle of the event loop, managing the execution and cleanup of asynchronous operations.no extension
RunLoop
Same as Start: Controls the lifecycle of the event loop, managing the execution and cleanup of asynchronous operations.no extension
Execute
Same as Start: Controls the lifecycle of the event loop, managing the execution and cleanup of asynchronous operations.no extension
ExecuteLoop
Same as Start: Controls the lifecycle of the event loop, managing the execution and cleanup of asynchronous operations.no extension
RunReactiveLoop
Same as Start: Controls the lifecycle of the event loop, managing the execution and cleanup of asynchronous operations.no extension
ExecuteReactiveLoop
Same as Start: Controls the lifecycle of the event loop, managing the execution and cleanup of asynchronous operations.no extension
Stop
(no comment in the source: the name reads as a sentence) stopin the section starting and stopping the reactive system (libuv loop)no extension
StopLoop
F5: the reactor is deliberately NOT destroyed here. The manager/http hold handle-sharing COPIES (Haro attribute assignment copies objects), so destroying from Stop() -- which timer callbacks may invoke MID-LOOP -- would leave those copies submitting on a freed loop (use-after-free). The idle loop thread is reclaimed at process exit; callers needing eager teardown may ReactorQ().Destroy() once no loop is running.no extension
StopExecution
(no comment in the source: the name reads as a sentence) stop executionin the section starting and stopping the reactive system (libuv loop)no extension
StopLoopExecution
(no comment in the source: the name reads as a sentence) stop loop executionin the section starting and stopping the reactive system (libuv loop)no extension
StopSafe
(no comment in the source: the name reads as a sentence) stop safein the section starting and stopping the reactive system (libuv loop)no extension
SafeStopLoop
(no comment in the source: the name reads as a sentence) safe stop loopin the section starting and stopping the reactive system (libuv loop)no extension
SafeStopExecution
(no comment in the source: the name reads as a sentence) safe stop executionin the section starting and stopping the reactive system (libuv loop)no extension
SafeStopLoopExecution
(no comment in the source: the name reads as a sentence) safe stop loop executionin the section starting and stopping the reactive system (libuv loop)no extension
StopNext
(no comment in the source: the name reads as a sentence) stop nextin the section starting and stopping the reactive system (libuv loop)no extension

(no comment in the source: the name reads as a sentence) stop next loopin the section starting and stopping the reactive system (libuv loop)no extension
Reactivate
Enables functions or objects to participate in the asynchronous event loop with reactive behavior.no extension
MakeReactive

CreateTimer
Manages timers for scheduling delayed or periodic tasks in the reactive system.QCSXTZZZIBWU
CreateTask
(no comment in the source: the name reads as a sentence) create taskin the section reactive timersno extension
RunAfter
(no comment in the source: the name reads as a sentence) run afteralso written: SetTimeoutin the section reactive timersQCSXTZZZIBWU
RunEvery
(no comment in the source: the name reads as a sentence) run everyalso written: SetIntervalin the section reactive timersQCSXTZZZIBWU
StopTimer
The object branch used to be just _timer_.Stop(), which set a flag on whatever the caller was holding. The manager stores a COPY, so the copy it is running never heard about it and went on firing. Removing it from the manager BY ID is what actually stops a timer -- proven: the id path takes the registration from one to zero.no extension
StopAllTimers
(no comment in the source: the name reads as a sentence) stop all timersin the section reactive timersno extension
HttpGet
Handles asynchronous HTTP GET and POST requests for network communication.QCSXTZZZIBWU
